3lb TOMATOES

1lb ONIONS

2 CUPS SUGAR

1 PINT WHITE VINEGAR

1ROUNDED TABLESPOON PLAIN FLOUR

1 TABLESPOON CURRY POWDER

PINCH CAYENNE

1 TABLESPOON DRY MUSTARD

1 TABLESPOON SALT

CHOP TOMATOES ROUGHLY, SAVE ¾ CUP JUICE. CHOP ONION FINELY. PUT ONION, TOMATOES, SUGAR & VINEGAR IN SAUCEPAN & BOIL UNCOVERED TILL THICK. BLEND FLOUR, CURRY, CAYENNE, MUSTARD & SALT WITH RESERVED TOMATO JUICE. ADD TO SAUCEPAN & STIR UNTIL BOILING. SIMMER GENTLY FOR 3 TO 4 MINUTES UNTIL THICK.
