1 x TEASPOON BI-CARB SODA
¾ x CUP FIRMLY PACKED BROWN SUGAR
60g x BUTTER
2 x EGGS
1 x CUP SELF RAISING FLOWER
PUT DATES, WATER AND BICARB SODA IN TO FOOD PROCESSOR AND WHIZ UNTIL NEARLY SMOOTH. LET STAND FOR 5 MINUTES.
GREASE 20cm ROUND TIN WITH COOKING SPRAY.
ADD SUGAR AND BUTTER TO MIX AND WHIZ FOR A FEW SECONDS TO COMBINE MIX.
ADD EGGS AND FLOUR, MIX UNTIL COMBINED.
POUR INTO PAN AND BAKE IN MODERATE OVEN (180 ⁰C ) ON MIDDLE SHELF FOR 55 MINUTES.
SAUCE
1 x CUP FIRMLY PACKED BROWN SUGAR
100g x CHOPPED BUTTER
300ml x CREAM
MELT ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER, SERVE HOT OVER PUDDING
