Hi Lee,
I'm glad you like the site!

Are you happy with buying a coach and are the feul costs of concern to you ?

We looked at many option before choosing to buy a coach, but for us the extra space was the deciding factor. We still feel it was the right way to go.
Yes fuel cost are a concern, we are averaging around 2.7km/l, however our generator also runs of the main fuel tank, we have been using it a fare bit. The way I see it, if we had a smaller rig we would be relying more on caravan parks and our camp fees, would be a lot higher. Having a toilet, shower and washing machine in the bus reduces other expenses.

You seem to have covered a lot of Km’s in the past few weeks, do you find the west coast a bit boring or do you just have a deadline?

A bit of both, the west coast is far less populated than over east, there are fewer towns and long distances between. Many of the towns are a fair way off the highway and many are mining towns so we weren't all that interested in stopping in. We also plan to finish traveling some time in the next 3 to 6 months.

Would you have bought a different coach now that you have had this expeince, bigger or smaller or some setup differently

We feel we made the right choice, although we have found it limits us to some extent, particularly in the remote areas of the country like the north west. Many of side roads to national parks and attractions are via dirt roads and best suited to 4 wheel drives, a 4x4 and off road camper would be better for exploring these areas. As far as changing any thing, no for our intended trip, I feel our set up suits us well.

I enjoy your wedsite and have a look at it nearly every day, you do a great job with it.

Thank you, we love to hear from people who see our site and are more than happy to answer any questions.
I enjoy putting the site together, more so the coding side of it, but I also often wander what others think of it. We are averaging 953 site hits per month and an average of 5 pages viewed per visit, yet we get very few of them contact us.

Cheers
Damian
