We are back on the road!
We left Bridgetown Caravan Park this morning and drove most of the day, we had a few short stops along the way before pulling up just short of the Jurien Bay turn off. The sun had started to set, so we decided to pull up for the night.

We hope you all had a great Easter!
Bridgetown Caravan Park was booked out all weekend, so we met many friendly people, shared many tales over the odd beer or two. One Sunday we drove up to Donnybrook, about an hour north from here, where they had their bi-yearly apple festival. As part the the weekend celebrations, Donnybrook officially opened their new kids playground, the Apple Fun Park.
The Apple Fun Park is Australia’s largest FREE fun park with playground equipment to suit kids of all ages. For the adults there is even an exercise equipment area. Within the park there are several gas BBQs and ample shaded seating areas making it a great place to take the kids for a BBQ lunch. «—click here to read more—»

Yep, we are still here in Bridgetown! We haven’t posted for a while so I thought we’d better put up some new photos for you all to look at.
The boys have been learning to drive, Jayson has been driving the loader and Jake has been learning to drive the ride on mower.

Late yesterday afternoon we met up with the Talbot family and two other families for a few beers and to try our luck at catching marron in the local river, we didn’t have much luck with the marron, but had a great time sitting by the river telling yarns and having a few drinks while the kids played together. Afterwards we continues on at Steve and Fran’s place till quite late that night. While there we organized to meat up with the Talbot family the next day and go for a drive to check out Lake Towerrinning. The lake is about an hours drive north east of Bridgetown. «—click here to read more—»

February already! Back to School! Still Bridgetown!
Jayson started schooling for 2008 this week, considering its the first week back it seems to be full on. Unlike last year where he was knocking the days work over in less than a couple hours, this week he has been spending 6+ hours a day to get though it. In saying that, he has done 5 days work over 4 days, Monday being a public holiday. I think he is going to be a busy boy this year!
January has come and gone, yet we are still here in Bridgetown Carvan Park. We had initially intended to stay for 10 days, then a further few days, then a further week, and now its over a month later and we are still here and happy to stay a little while longer. The weather is great, the park is quiet and friendly, we have made friends with the park owners Brad and Sue, a couple of other long term guests and socialised with many of the other guests that have come and gone over the month. We haven’t travelled far from Bridgetown in the past couple weeks, other than the odd 30k trip to Manjimup to stock up on groceries.
We have had a couple nights of entertainment by a solo musician who plays the guitar, «—click here to read more—»
