Site Update – face lift

I have made some changes to the site over the past couple days. Most are cosmetic changes such as the header picture, font colours, background, etc.
One of the more useful changes is the calendar in the side bar. The calendar highlights today’s date, displays day numbers in bold red for dates on which posts where written, clicking dates will display posts made for that day.
You can also scroll months using the links bellow the day numbers, to jump direct to a particular month you can choose the month from the Archive list bellow the calendar. The calendar will change to the month you select from the archives.
The side bar now shows on the Photo/album pages also.

Site Update – Photo Album order

I have reversed the order in which sub-albums show within the “Australia – Our Lap” album, this means the newest sub-album will be listed first rather than last. This will make it easier to navigate to new albums as the pages grow.

Site Update – Map page

Its raining here in Mildura today, so I have been playing with google maps. I have made an addition to the MAP page The new map shows our entire track with icons to indicate our stops. This map will update as we go along.

Site update

I spent a bit of time today fixing a few bugs with the site, mainly minor code fixes which may not be noticeable for most but one fix worth a mention is the Contact form, thanks Shayne for letting us know there was a problem with it, it should now be fixed.
Checking our log it appears we have lost 13 messages sent from the Contact form, I apologize to those who had experienced problems and if you revisit we would love to hear from you.

I have also changed a lot of code in the MAP page, some people were not getting a pop up when clicking a marker, this should now be fixed.
